Thank you for visiting David’s Dryer Vent Cleaning Service.
Does your dryer take longer then usual to dry? 90% of the time, this is caused by a dirty or clogged dryer vent line and is a possible fire hazard! Is Dryer Exhaust Vent Cleaning Important?.... YES IT IS!
A dirty or clogged dryer exhaust vent not only waste energy, it can cause a fire or fill a building with deadly carbon monoxide!
Dryer lint causes more house fires then anything else!
If your dryer is taking more then one cycle to dry a normal load, 90% of the time it is because the exhaust system is dirty or clogged. Before you call out the appliance repair people, have your dryer vent cleaned! Help protect your family or business from fire or carbon monoxide! Dryer lint is extremely flammable. It is very important and often forgotten, to have your dryer exhaust vent system cleaned! It doesn't matter if you have an electric or gas dryer, they can both cause dryer lint fires. Although the heating elements are different, they both have the potential to start a fire. Electric dryers use electricity to heat coils which get red hot and and lint passing close to this will catch fire. A gas dryer uses an intense open flame to heat the air and this too will ignite lint or debris entering the compartment. Cleaning the lint trap is not enough. Smaller particles and hair still get through. They stick to the inside of your dryer exhaust vent system. A dirty dryer vent system then cause lint to accumulate under, behind and inside the dryer housing, causing the dryer to overheat. This creates an extreme fire hazard! Most of us do not have the proper equipment or expertise to clean a dryer vent system. So this is why it is so very important to have a specialist do the job right!
Along with normal dryer lint buildup, there is also the common problem of bird or rodent nest inside the dryer exhaust vent ducts. The blockage caused by a nest, increases the buildup of dryer lint!
Would you call a plumber to fix your computer, a tree trimmer to cut your hair or use a lawn mower to trim your nails? I hope not! So why call a carpet cleaner, air duct cleaner or chimney sweep to clean your dryer vent?
I specialize in dryer exhaust vent cleaning and I will not try to sell you any extra or unnecessary services. I use the safest and most effective equipment which is specifically designed for dryer exhaust vent cleaning. I don't use carpet cleaning equipment or compressed air, I use the proper tools to get the job done right.

Some Information My Competition Doesn't Want You to Know!
Before you call another dryer vent cleaning company, do your research. Check out who is making those bogus ratings on their ads
80% are fake, so don't be fooled!
Beware of companies that offer other services such as carpet cleaning and air duct cleaning. They have so many deceptions and scams going on, they made the national T.V. News! They virtually steer business away from legitimate businesses like mine, by offering mediocre dryer vent cleaning as a “foot in the door” to sell you other unnecessary services at highly inflated prices.
Dryer Vent Cleaning is a safety necessity and NOT a comfort issue. There may be a few conditions in which it would be a necessity to have your air ducts cleaned. This may be due to lack of maintenance and not changing the filter, a house fire or smokers in the house. Otherwise, use a good quality filter, change it every 3 months and it will not be necessary to have your air ducts cleaned.
Some examples of deceptions & questionable practices to beware of:
A large department store is offering $99 dryer vent cleaning. However, the price is only for the first 8 feet. After that is it another $99 for each 8 feet or less. This popular department store and a local chimney sweep among others, use a system that uses compressed air which is extremely messy and not effective on wet lint. Some ducts may also contain massive amounts of water which their system is unable to remove. This system is so messy that it is almost impossible to clean up all of the lint that flies all over the neighborhood. It is common to find dryer vent duct joints that are sealed with duct tape. Compressed air loosens and dislodges these seals causing leaks in your ducts. This method is all done from the outside of the building and the dryer is not disconnected.
A local usa air duct cleaning company advertises $49.95 to clean dryer vents. However, what they really charge is $49.95 for the first 5 feet and $7.00 per foot after, if it hasn't been over a year since the last cleaning, then it's even more! So if you have a 20 foot duct, it will cost you a minimum of $154.95.
A large “steamer” carpet cleaner and a big “red” air duct and carpet cleaner advertises dryer vent cleaning, but they won’t do it unless you have all of your air ducts and/or carpet cleaned too.
A customer told me he was quoted $79, by an air duct cleaning company, to clean his dryer vent. However, after all of the additional charges, he ended up paying in excess of $600.
A man saying he was associated with "Northstar Services", used a flimsy coiled wire with a small brush on the end to just push it into the customer's duct and shook it around a little. This is by no means an acceptable or efficient method to clean a dryer vent duct. I know of one local Canyon Country company using this method. This may be why they only charge $29.95.
My customers, have told me too many horror stories, to list them all.
Always ask what the service includes and do they disconnect the dryer when cleaning. I only clean dryer vents and will not try to sell you anything more! I will always be up front, fair and honest.

David's Dryer Vent Cleaning Service is a local, owner operated, small business and not part of or associated with any other business or franchise. So in these tough economic times, why do business with a company with multiple income sources and may also be foreign owned? Invest in your community and do business with local, independent merchants. My pricing is easy to understand. I offer a flat rate* for any dryer vent, regardless of how long the duct is or how many turns it makes. I never charge a service call fee and there are no extra charges or hidden cost.
You may find a less expensive price and you WILL find a more expensive price, however I am committed to giving you the best service at the fairest price possible. All Work is 100% Guaranteed!
I will not guarantee to "beat anyone's price". That would not be fair to either of us. It would not allow me to give you the quality service you deserve or be fair to me for my services. Others may be able to do this at a loss because they offer other services at inflated prices to make up for it. In the end, we all end up paying for these deceptions.
*Flat rate, applies to owner occupied single-family residences. Some exceptions may apply. Exceptions may occur only with certain properties and the type of dryer involved such as stacked washer/dryers. All exceptions will be disclosed prior to a service appointment, so there will be no surprises or hidden fees.
